Functional pottery with flair

Erin McClelland has been doing pottery since 2001. I began doing pottery as a way to stay sane in graduate school. Usually if you are thinking about something besides the pot you are throwing, the pot does not make it off the wheel. So, doing pottery was a great way to let my creativity flow. I really love playing with color and experimenting with how different glazes can mix to become something else entirely. I also want to make pottery that people can use. Thus, I make pottery for practical, as well as decorative use. My pieces include mugs, bowls, ramakins, sponge holders, plates, vases, pitchers, wine chillers and unique oil jars that are microwave safe, oven safe, dishwasher safe, and will enhance your environment.
